Sacred Heart loves to celebrate new life and support families!

Meals for Moms provides a welcoming gift of meals to Sacred Heart of Jesus parish families when they bring home a child through birth, adoption, or foster placement. The goal of the ministry is to support life in our parish by supporting families through the transition of adding another family member as well as strengthen relationships within our parish by serving one another. We do not actually meet – all communication is done by email and using the platform www.mealtrain.com. The meal providers make themselves available on an on-call basis to provide meals when needed. These meal providers sign themselves up on an online calendar as meal trains arise, and they coordinate the cooking and delivery of their meals to the recipient family.

We greatly need more meal providers. Please consider joining our ranks. All you need is an active email address and a willingness to prepare and deliver a meal when you are able. It is an easy way to support LIFE in your own parish, and get to know your fellow parishioners!
